Quality Assurance Officer

£ 26,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on skills and ability)

12 month Contract

Wrexham area

The Role

An exciting opportunity to work for a progressive organisation has arisen for a Quality Assurance Officer to ensure that products manufactured are produced and processed in accordance with company, corporate and international standards with respect to cGMP, product safety, quality and efficacy.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation from third party suppliers ensuring the regulatory requirements are met.

• Data extraction and manipulation producing reports and presentations to senior management in relation to identifying areas for improvement with quality issues.

• Provide technical support for quality issues

• Assist in GMP audits

• Daily use of SAP and Excel

The Candidate

The successfully appointed Quality Assurance Officer will have the following skills and abilities:

• Demonstrable experience in a Quality Assurance role within the pharmaceutical industry.

• Background in manufacturing and pharmaceuticals.

• Working knowledge of EU GMP.

• The ability to perform root cause analysis and to manage multiple projects.

• A degree level qualification or equivalent in chemistry, pharmacy or biology.

• IT literate, with experience of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Access, Word

• The ability to adapt and willingness to learn skills for use with other computer software packages.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external personnel.

• A flexible approach and the ability to work using ones own initiative as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Additional key skills or job titles:

QA, Quality Officer, Quality Manager, Supply Quality Officer, GMP, document control, pharmaceutical, chemistry, biology.

The Package

• £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on skills and ability)

• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

• Free parking

• Enhanced pension contribution

• Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.15am - 4.15pm (Monday-Friday)
