A great opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, versatile and well organised Quality Coordinator, who is well versed in ISO 9002:2015 & IATF 16949 standards and procedures, to join a well-established innovative manufacturing firm who are market leaders in their industry.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quality Coordinator who will take autonomy of their role, working closely with the Quality Manager and Customer Service Team. Responsibilities will include but will not be restricted to:
|Ensure that the Quality activities meet legal and Company obligations with respect to product quality, safety, environmental in line with Company policies, procedures and Customer specific requirements. Ensure that the department meets its key performance targets as outlined in the business plan and in consultation with the Quality Manager. Provide written reports to customers and company management teams detailing performance measures, issues and improvement action plans as required. Lead problem solving activities using company and customer methodologies to ensure verifiable and effective actions to contain defects, establish root causes, implement corrective actions and prevent further occurrence. Introduce, sustain and cascade Quality techniques that meet both customer and business needs in line with appropriate national and international standards (ISO 9002:2015 & IATF 16949). Promote cross-functional involvement, team working and communications within the business to support the achievement of world-class standards and key performance targets. Ensure basic disciplines are in place within the team, ensuring the required quality performance using the appropriate Customer specific requirements, Company policies and procedures are applied. Work closely with the management and its teams ensuring good working relationships and the provision of quality support services. Participate in all customer-related Liaison, Quality activities and new product introductions utilising appropriate customer approved APQP techniques. Contribute to the overall operational effectiveness of the plant by recommending sound proposals to support the business objectives. Cultivate strong, clear Quality leadership within the business and Supplier base to promote a continually improving environment, which encourages innovation, excellence and achievement. Participate in the achievement of departmental objectives, and their continued monitoring to ensure the achievement of set targets.|
The successful Quality Coordinator will demonstrate previous Quality experience within an automotive, manufacturing or engineering environment, working to ISO9002:2015 and IATF 16949 regulations and standards. Comprehensive understanding of all Office based software including, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. As an individual it is essential that you are able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task, work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Be able to converse effectively with internal stakeholders, and external customers, and take autonomy of your job role.
