Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer - Doncaster / Worksop - c.£45k plus bonus

Quality Engineer, the role:

A thoroughly engaging position within an international business, you will handle the development, application, maintenance and assessment of all quality functions in collaboration with all departments to ensure the uninterrupted development and manufacture of high-tech products for key industries like aerospace and defense.

You will implement measures that improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality and/or efficiency, maintain data collection, entry or reporting to assure product conformance, process capability or equipment calibration.

Develop and implement standards and methods for inspecting, testing, calibrating, and evaluation of materials, products, returns, equipment and processes.

Develop, optimise and improve Quality processes in support of AS9100 and ISO 9001.

Develop policies and procedures essential to the administration of the Quality Management System.

Quality Engineer, requirements:

Degree in related discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent education and experience.

Two years of Quality function and/or Engineering experience or equivalent experience preferred.

Working knowledge and experience with Quality Management Systems, Quality function management, Problem solving methodologies, CI philosophies and Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing practices.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well with all levels of personnel across multiple functional lines.

Salary: c.£45k plus bonus of up to 10% of salary

Hours: 7.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday - flexi
