Raw Materials Inspector

£26,750 PA, Sheffield, Monday - Friday, day shift only, 31 days holiday, temp-perm/permanent, quarterly bonus, premium overtime, free parking, Christmas shutdown.

Due to an increase in orders, we have brilliant opportunity for a Raw Materials Inspector to join our client who is a globally renowned manufacturing business. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within a recycling or manufacturing environment and have a strong background working within Stores and Stock control. Reporting to the Raw Materials Supervisor you will be working as part of the small sized team and day to day duties will include:

• Inspecting and checking incoming raw materials.
• Managing and coordinating deliveries.
• Updating IT systems.
• Recording goods received.
• Managing delivery enquiries.
• Driving FLT to unload deliveries.
• Driving a loading shovel.
• Unpacking delivered goods and placing into stores.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a full loading shovel license.
• Hold a full FLT Counterbalance license.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Problem solve when needed.
• Have great communication skills.

This role would suit a candidate that has experience within a heavy engineering, manufacturing, steel works, or recycling or castings environment as a Loading Shovel Driver, FLT Counterbalance Driver, Recycling Operative, Goods In/ Out Operative.
