Our client has been a well renowned Sheffield manufacturing business for over 100 years and are proud to supply well known international retailers. Due to our client's excellent staff retention levels this is a rare opportunity for an experienced Sales Administrator to join their team on a full time permanent basis. Working in well-established small team, in a spacious and friendly environment, you will be reporting into the Sales Manager and Sales Director and will have the opportunity to undertake an extremely varied role including;

  • Data analysis in spreadsheet format to identify products within the company stock range and customer orders
  • Managing and inputting tracking and coordinating shipments for mainly one large customer accounts
  • Liaising with oversees manufacturers regarding imported products including estimated delivery dates and availability of stock
  • Liasing and managing incoming customer queries via phone and email
  • Tracking shipments and managing any issues and implications
  • Tracking, analysing and extracting data in Excel
  • Providing general sales administration support
  • Use of Sage 200

This is a fast paced role and we would expect the successful Sales Administrator to be:

  • PC literate
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP and the use of Formulas
  • Highly numerate and articulate
  • Have strong communication skills via telephone and email
  • Have an organised and thorough approach to work
  • Commercially aware

In return you will receive a generous benefits package including:

  • £24,000 - 26,000 depending on experience
  • Monday - Friday (flexible on start and finish times)
  • 35 hour working week (would consider other hours across 5 days close to 35pw)

This role would suit someone who has been working as a Sales Administrator, Procurement Administrator, Export Administrator, Import Administrator, Purchasing Administrator with a strong knowledge of Excel and confidence dealing with large volumes of data.
