As sales order processor your main duties will involve speaking to customers and building long lasting relationships, ensuring all customers receive a high standard of service, from initial enquiry through to delivery. You will work closely with several departments within the business to ensure a streamlined process. You will learn how to provide accurate quotations and estimating, process orders efficiently, managing incoming emails and scheduling orders with the production team.

Duties:

• Speaking to customers and understanding their needs
• Booking in orders
• Providing quotations to customers
• Scheduling workshop production
• Maintaining and updating database
• Dealing with customer queries
• Managing an inbox
• Processing invoices and matching orders on the system

Requirements:

• Good customer service skills, able to build long term supplier relationships
• Experience in a manufacturing background would be beneficial
• Motivated and driven to succeed
• Keen to learn and progress with the role
• A team player attitude
• Own transport required due to location

This sales order processor role would suit someone who has worked in a horticultural or manufacturing environment and has worked in sales support, scheduling, customer services, office administration, purchasing, procurement, supply chain or in a buyer role.
