Temporary School Caretaker

Details:

• MUST have Enhanced DBS

• Start: ASAP

• Hours: to be confirmed

• Location: Barking

• Pay: min £13 depending on experience

• Duration: Approx 2 weeks possibly longer

Duties: Including, but not limited to:

• Cleaning designated areas

• Ensure high standards of cleanliness & presentation around premises

• Replacement of consumables - e.g. toilet rolls, soap

• Daily maintenance and minor repairs

• Painting & decorating

• Ensure ultimate security around the building and grounds

• General portage - setting up and clearing away furniture

• Effectively communicating with facilities team to ensure projects are completed on time

• Ensure heating, lighting and alarm systems are checked regularly to ensure they are operational

• Responsible for ordering equipment relevant to your role

• Any other related duties

Essentials:

• Previous School Caretaking experience

• General handyperson abilities including minor plumbing, carpentry, electrical

• Excellent communication skills

• Competent in working with a team

• Prepared for any pertinent training to assist with the role

• Basic IT knowledge

• Enhanced DBS
