Senior NDT Manager

£44,500 - £57,000, Permanent position, Rotherham, Monday - Friday days only, 30 days holiday.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior NDT Manager to join our client in Rotherham on a permanent full-time basis. This is a senior technical leadership role within a prestige manufacturing environment. You will lead a close-knit team and be responsible for the operational management of all NDT activities.

As the Senior NDT Manager you will:

• Conduct and oversee NDT activities including Radiographic Testing, Dye/Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, and Visual Inspection.
• Develop, approve, and maintain NDT procedures, techniques, and operating standards.
• Provide technical guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 technicians and support their career development.
• Review and approve inspection results, certifications, and technical documentation.

• Coordinate audits, subcontract NDT activities, and external inspection services.
• Manage staffing, overtime planning, and daily activities of NDT technicians and apprentices.
• Oversee production planning within the NDT department and ensure work is routed according to process requirements.
• Maintain departmental efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company standards.

The successful Senior NDT Manager must possess;

• Level 3 in Radiography or Dye Penetrant Testing (essential)
• Extensive experience in NDT management and inspection
• Strong knowledge of NDT techniques
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team

This role would suit someone who has been working within a non destructive testing environment within radiography or dye penetrant.
