A great opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, methodical, quality focused Senior Quality Technician to join a well-established manufacturing firm as a key coordinate within their specialist Quality and Technical Team.

·Salary: £25,300pa

·Hours: Monday to Friday 8am till 4pm
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Quality Technician who will take autonomy of ensuring the production of all company products are appropriately regulated to customer and company specification, duties will include but will not be restricted to:
·Supporting Quality Supervisor with the day to day management of the QC/QA team, covering when QC/QA job role when needed .
·Managing and prioritising any quality issues as and when they arise within the company.
·Liaising and educating shop floor Supervisors and Managers on food safety, legality and quality issues. reporting any unacceptable behaviour and identifying any training needs.
·Working closely with external food, packaging and service providers on quality and service issues.
·Ensuring all processes and paperwork are correct and audit traceable.
·Assisting with preparing and leading external audits.
·Investigating all customer complaints in relation to product standards, within CSL time scale.

The successful Senior Quality Technician will ideally have previous Senior Quality Technician
experience from a food or beverage FMCG manufacturing environment. Educated to level 3 hygiene/safety, and qualified in HACCP lLevel 2 as a minimum. Have full working knowledge of a quality department. As an individual it is essential that you are able to demonstrate the ability to motivate and direct team members, have an excellent eye for detail, be able to communicate well with all on every level, in both verbal and written communication, multi-task, and prioritise workloads, and take autonomy of your job role.
