Sous Chef

£30,000 to £34,000 per annum plus tips, permanent, LE15, 28 days leave, 45 hours per week, paid overtime

Due to progression, our client is recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the small, friendly and loyal kitchen team of this hospitality establish. You will work closely alongside the Head Chef:

  • Preparing and cooking food to order
  • Running the pass on the Head Chef's days off
  • Supporting the Head Chef with ordering, kitchen paperwork and menu development
  • Providing leadership and mentoring for junior kitchen staff

We would expect you to have experience of working as a Sous Chef, Head Chef or Chef de Partie in a similar style kitchen and be confident preparing fresh food to order. Due to the nature of the menus, excellent knife skills would be very useful! This would be an ideal role if you love the buzz of cooking in a busy restaurant.
