We are looking for a Stock Controller to work within a busy manufacturing company based in Wrexham. The Stock Controller will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time, and maintaining accurate stock records. This role will involve using a forklift to assist with material handling and stock movement throughout the facility.
The Stock Controller Role -
- Operate a forklift counterbalance to move stock between storage areas and production lines.
- Monitor and control stock levels to ensure timely supply of materials to production areas.
- Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records using inventory management systems.
- Safely load and unload deliveries, ensuring the correct storage and labeling of materials.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to ensure efficient stock control and material handling.
- Report on stock discrepancies and work with the team to resolve any issues.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on the forklift and other equipment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures for stock handling and inventory management.
The Ideal Stock Controller Candidate -The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role and will have the following skills:
- Proven experience as a stock controller, warehouse operator, or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and maintaining accurate records.
