£11.50ph, Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm, 28 days holiday including bank holidays, Christmas shutdown, free parking

Job Role

Goods in / out Operative required for small, family run business on the outskirts of Harrogate distributing goods worldwide. Working alongside the Director and Sales and Marketing assistant, you will ensure the warehouse runs efficiently and that orders are dispatched in a timely manner.

Main duties include:-

• Stock Management using in house computerised system
• Order picking and packing using hand held scanners
• Dispatching orders using couriers
• Managing Goods in and returns
• Assembling some products and boxing up prior to packing
• Moving stock within the warehouse as required
• Assisting with stock takes
• Correcting any stock errors on the system

Requirements

As Goods in Operative you will be IT literate and able to use the in house stock system and scanners. You will have exceptional attention to detail as it is crucial that the stock records are accurate so it can be found easily. The successful candidate will be happy to work alone and use their initiative as you will occasionally be in the warehouse on your own. The Goods in role is very varied so you will need to be flexible and able to switch between and prioritise a number of different tasks
