Excellent opportunity to join a well-established business in Bradford working on interesting and challenging projects producing accurate costs and estimates for fabricated structures.
Excellent organisational and customer service skills are essential as is a confident understanding of engineering drawings, materials and processes.

The role of Estimator will include:
* Working with customers to full understand needs and requirements
* Ascertain preliminary and detailed design/project requirements and solutions
* Production of accurate manufacturing costing and bills of materials
* Producing tenders
* Ensure customer approval of the drawing and incorporate amendments
* Note and report deviations from the original bill of materials
* Work to tight deadlines and project milestones
* Ensure design compliance with all legal regulations, associated industry policies and customer specifications.
* Raise action logs to support corrective action and root cause analysis


The Person
* Mechanical, structural or manufacturing background
* Previous experience in estimating
* Experience working with CRM and MRP systems
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Strong listening and presentation skills
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
* Computer use competency of MS office
