Training will be given, however the ideal candidate will have a background in administration with an exposure to logistics, freight, shipping or supply chain
Job Role
Due to a staff member retiring, our Huddersfield based client are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Co-ordinator to ensure the accuracy and compliance of inbound shipments. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in verifying shipping documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance to prevent any issues upon container arrival.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review shipping consignment paperwork to ensure accuracy, including verifying serial numbers against documentation.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies before containers arrive at port.
- Check and verify compliance regarding the origin of products to meet regulatory and company standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address any shipping or compliance issues proactively.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain compliance preferred.
- Ability to work with documentation and regulatory requirements.
