Our award-winning client is seeking a Transport Planner to work in a small fast paced traffic office. Reporting into the General Manager, you will deliver a cost-effective service to clients, ensuring vehicles are loaded/unloaded efficiently, whilst optimising on service and revenue.

Duties include.

• Planning of resources for the fleet in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

• Liaise between our drivers and the customers in a proactive, clear and professional manner.

• Support the Transport Operations Manager and office operations with the daily plan for network and full-load vehicle movements.

• Process orders, PODs on the company traffic management system and check purchase invoices as required.

• Liaise with drivers and coordinate their requirements.

To be considered for the Transport Planner role candidates must have previous Transport Planner experience and excellent communication skills. Intermediate IT skills with Word and Excel is essential as is the ability to work in a fast paced, pressurised environment.
