Our long-established specialist distribution company in Grantham has an opportunity for a Transport Planner to join their night team.

Duties include;

• Ensuring that the freight is scanned to the designated vehicles and depart to schedule.

• Downloading all consignments from the network and uploading into the company TMS.

• Prepare a routing schedule for all network freight and manage the night drivers for all departments.

• Receive trunk vehicles throughout the night, supervise the forklift driver, unloading trailers and scanning pallets.

• Prepare all delivery manifests and paperwork for the following day.

In order to be considered for this role candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience working in a Transport or Logistics office. Intermediate IT skills and a professional telephone manner are required for the role.

Knowledge of transportation operations, safety regulations, and legal compliance is also essential.
