Finance Manager required for education establishment based in Stroud paying up to £45,000.

As Finance Manager for our client your role will be integral to the successful running of the education establishment and you will be working very closely with the Chief Finance & Operations Officer, supported by two finance assistants.

As Finance Manager you will be responsible for efficient financial processes across the business, ensuring compliance with policies and protocols. Working closely with the CFOO to develop a strong financial function to support growth within the establishment and monitor budgets and production of financial forecasts.

To be considered for the role of Finance Manager you will need to have the following knowledge and experience:

- one of the following qualifications - CIPFA, AAT or ACCA

- understanding of Audit and risk

- high level of competence using Excel and Accounting Software package

- knowledge within an educational setting would be beneficial

- excellent communication skills

- ability to set priorities to enable work to be done effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines

- excellent attention to detail

- ability to understand and enforce financial regulations
