Our client, an established recycling facility based in Grantham, is looking for a Weekend Preventative Maintenance Engineer to join their team. Applicants must be able to follow preventative maintenance schedules and complete all relevant documentation to a high standard.

Duties include:

• Weekend maintenance across the site to ensure optimal performance.

• Fault finding on equipment such as electrical panels, PLC, 3 phrase circuits and control systems, motor testing repairs and replacement

• Mechanically replacing bearings, compressor checks, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Completing all relevant documentation to a high standard

• Basic facility and site service maintenance when required.

This role is being offered on a 12-hour rotating shift basis 4 days on (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday) followed by 3 days off - 6am - 6pm and then 6pm - 6am

Applicants are required to be flexible as the shift may change.

Required skills/experience:

Mechanical knowledge such as bearings, compressors, chains, hydraulics, and pneumatics are essential. Electrical knowledge is an advantage.

Knowledge and experience in a production driven environment or recycling plant would be an advantage.
