Job Title: Workshop Technician

Location: Burgess Hill (outskirts - will require own transport)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm (plus paid overtime during busy periods)

Salary: A competitive salary is offered based on experience and skill set

Duration: Permanent

We are delighted to be working alongside one of UK's leading sports distributors who are experiencing strong growth and looking to add to their well-established team. The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Workshop Technician or keen Cyclist with experience in building, maintaining and repairing road or mountain bikes.

The Role

The main aim of this role will be to complete full assembly of specialist road bikes. You will work from a workstation that will suspend the bike frame, and then follow a systematic process of attaching all key components of the bike to the frame.

Prior knowledge and experience of assembling a bike will be essential to understand the importance of correct parts and identifying any issues when assembling and conducting checks for working gears and breaks.

Skills Required

  • High level of cycle building and maintenance skills - either working experience or as a hobby
  • Good technical knowledge of Di2, EPS and Campagnolo products is preferred, but not essential
  • Must be organised, methodical and highly efficient
  • Ability to follow set instructions
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Must have access to own method of transport due to location
