Yard Assistant / Order Picker / Fork Lift Driver, £9.50ph plus OT, St Phillips, Bristol - Temp to Perm positions with immediate starts

Our client, a leading supplier of products for the construction industry, are looking for a Yard Assistant / Order Picker / Fork Lift Driver to join them at their busy site in St Phillips, paying a salary of £9.50ph plus benefits.

Job Title: Yard Assistant / Order Picker /Fork Lift Driver

Salary: £9.50 per hour

Benefits: 21 days holiday (plus BH), Pension, free parking

Location: St Phillips, Bristol

Hours: 7.30 - 5pm Mon to Fri, plus every other Saturday (OT paid after 39 hrs)

The successful Yard Assistant/ Order Picker / Fork Lift Driver will have experience of working in a similar role / environment - ideally you will have worked in a builders merchants, garden centre or a retailer of building supplies. A a current valid Counter Balance FLT licence would also be beneficial. You will also possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

The Yard Assistant / Order Picker / FLT Driver will be working in a manufacturing and retail site - duties will involve order picking, putting stock away, sweeping up and general yard duties. You will also be assisting with enquiries from trade customers, as well as members of the general public. The ability to interact with people and have excellent communication skills is essential.

The successful Yard Assistant/Order Picker/ FLT Driver will have previously worked in a similar environment, enjoy working in a hands on environment and have a flexible approach to their work.
